Dark Chocolate Cherry Almond Clusters and Today's Workout...Yoga!

Chocolate...Dried Cherries...Sliced Almonds.
                   That's it!

I get to have lunch with my husband almost every single day. We like to have a cup of coffee and piece of dark chocolate afterwards. This hits the spot!

Yield: 13 (Now it's a lucky number!)
Time: 20 min. (Maybe less, If you don't have the patience to let them set up!)

**These are not a "low cal" "low fat" treat. But considering the benefits of dark chocolate, almonds, and cherries, they are a much better alternative for a treat than many other desserts out there.**

10 oz dark chocolate, any kind will do
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup dried cherries

Melt the chocolate. Microwaving is the easiest method for this. You can also melt your chocolate in a heat proof bowl over a pan of simmering water, the double boiler method.

Start with 1 minute. Take it out and stir. Then microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Stir until it's completely melted.

Next add your almonds and cherries

Stir until combined.

Line a baking sheet with wax paper and using a small 3/4 ounce ice cream scoop just drop the clusters onto the tray. The refrigerate until set. That should take about 10-15 minutes.

Then store in an airtight container in the fridge if your house is a little warm. Otherwise, they can stay out on the counter within easy reach.

These are just the perfect, small, and simple treat. Enjoy!

Here is the link for today's workout. A little light Yoga for an easy rest and recovery day.
