About Melody

My name is Melody. I am the wife of a Real Life Action Hero, (that should explain the photo above) a mother, a stepmother, a grandmother, homeschool mom, and a doggie mom. I am a Texas girl through and through. No matter where I live, Texas is my home. My life has turned out much sweeter than I could have ever imagined. 

I met this action hero in high school. Goodness we were young.

After losing touch and going in separate directions for 22 years...We found each other at the perfect time. He said hi to me and now here we are. 

This was our wedding day. We couldn't decide where to get married so we just had four different ceremonies all in one day! This was the last one of the day. The groom coming in on a zip-line and the bride riding in on a vintage firetruck! A Perfect Day! 

We have five kiddos...this picture is from 2011. 

...and one cherub like grandson! 

Then there's Luke the Goldendoodle. We take him with us everywhere! Recently we took him to a certain home improvement store and a couple of people asked if they could take his picture...No one ever stops us to ask if they can take our picture. He is scared of frisbees, sudden noises, and balloons.
He hides behind me if he gets scared. Considering his size, this is a little embarrassing. Ironically, he enjoys playing hide and seek. He loves apples, walks (as long as there are no frisbees), and naps. He really loves naps.

 I always imagine him asking if I happen to have any Grey Poupon in this picture. If you're old enough, you'll get that reference.
